
For a long time the stately building downtownat 109 Main Street seemed to be unrentable, an open sore, a haunted building, a crime scene without all the yellow tape. Now it will be the local home of trendy Urban Outfitters, sellers of almost everything to the young fashion-conscious people of the world. The other morning riggers were working inching a huge hunk of concrete out the front door that once held the old vault doors. Big sturdy vaults aren't worth much when the crooks are running the bank.
