Congratulations to Owen Freeman-Daniels

on his election, and on a running a good solid campaign. The Election is over, the voters have spoken, and all the political signs up and down the streets of Ward Three are coming down. In that spirit, I have taken down my postings that focussed on campaign issues. I am going to take a little breather and be back next Friday, August 12 with some kind of August surprise.

Strange as it may seem, for the first thousand years of robot development, robots were subordinate to sentient beings. TheSecret Weapon, part two,

She had her sunglasses on and sat stiffly there in the booth, not saying a word. An actress trying to dodge the reporters. We had our coffees and our glazed donuts and we had a good view of the clock in front of the bank across the street. It was one am. I let some time go by.

“I never told you why I got hysterical on you earlier.” I said.

She didn’t say anything, but she got out a pack of cigarettes, lit one, and took my hand in a casual kind of way. She squeezed it, a kind of friendly go right ahead and talk squeeze.
